Hey all. I do DI and I need a monologue...but I'm REALLY picky!

Actually, I really want to do something as/about Anne Boleyn--anyone know any scripts for that?

If not, I'd like any other suggestions. I'm a girl, but I'm open to playing a guy. I want something that will really allow me to show a lot of range, since I like getting into a role (though I think I can do subtle stuff as well). I like interesting topics--last year I did one about an abused girl with 3 personalities. I don't want anything too hokey or cliched. Should be about 7-12 minutes.

Thanks for your help!

Are you talking about Sybil by Flora Rheta Schreiber?

Doomed Queen Anne- Carolyn Meyer

Try looking in the book series "Young Royals" -By Carolyn Meyer. She has 4 books (Mary, Bloody Mary; Beware, Princess Elizabeth; Doomed Queen Anne; Patience, Princess Catherine-no particular order) all about the Tudor women who stood in the shadow of Henry the VIII. You could choose a particularily cool place in the book and format it for an amazing DI. It's what I did!
